HUDO Centre An activist in Kadogli talked to HUDO Centre saying that; “All the detained youth are volunteers active in the emergency room and they were either members in the resistance committees or Force of Freedom and Change (FFC). We believe this arrest operation is related to the corruption articles published by the journalist Mr. Alfadel Elsanhouri since their phones were targeted, searched and confiscated”. HUDO Centre is concerned about the safety of civilians in Sudan during this difficult period of fighting between SAF and RSF and calls for the following:  The GIS in Kadogli to unconditionally release the arrested youth or take them to the courts of law.  The head of the security committee in South Kordufan State (the governor) to investigate the circumstances behind this arrest and make the findings public.  The GIS to stop targeting and arresting civilians.  Sudan government to respect the rights of civilians.
