HUDO Centre 25th April 2019 No. H.K/PR/22/019 Update (33) COURT TRIAL OF AL-SANADRA CASE The court session was held on 10thApril 2019 at Khartoum North court before Justice/ Atif Ahmed Abdalla. It was attended by both lawyers’ panels but the prosecutor and defendants were absent. The judge adjourned the court to 15th May 2019. On 10th April 2019 at 11:00 AM, the court session was held at Khartoum North court before Justice/ Atif Ahmed Abdalla. All parties were present except the prosecutor and defendants. The judge announced that, the case file was brought back to court and that the president’s opinion about the deceased Mr. Ahmed Adam Shambul (Ahmed Adaroub) is calling for the comeuppance/ death sentence (Gassas). Due to the recent public demonstrations in Sudan, the judge adjourned the court to 15 th May 2019 when he will read the verdict.
