3 3.1 SECTION THREE: APPENDICES Appendix (1): Release and blocking of bank accounts These are the orders/instructions issued by the central bank of Sudan to all bank managers in Sudan; they were issued in central bank headed paper stamped and signed by two officials from the banks monitoring department. The document on the left; dated 21st March 2022, was ordering the banks to release the accounts of six hundred and forty six (646) individuals and three hundred and seventy three (373) companies which were seized by the ERC. The document on the right; dated 4th April 2022, was ordering the banks to seize the same accounts again. 26
