properties and burning the houses. As a result, thirteen (13) civilians were killed, six (6) others were injured, two (2) people missing, all the victim from Nuba/ Tagoe tribe. They also looted the following; two hundred and sixty-seven (267) cows, eight (8) motorbikes, three (3) tuk-tuks and three (3) bicycles. Many houses were burnt down and the village residents were displaced/ fled to the surrounding mountains. Reason for the attack, RSF accused the village residents of stealing some cattle from their tribemates (Hawazma). No action was taken by the security authority to defend the residents of this village and their property or to investigate the incident. Below are the names of the dead, injured, and missing people: The names of people (residents) who were killed are; Mr. Adam Babikir Osman (Jabu), Mr. Youssif Adam Jadalla, Mr. Osman Edris Osman, Mr. Osman Omer Ibrahim, Mr. Abdalla Mohammed (Abu Shanab), Mr. Makki Haroun Adam, Mr. Yaqoub Abdalla Hassan, Mr. Ibrahim Zakaria Ibrahim, Mr. Siddiq Ahmed Khalil, Mr. Abu Al-Hassan Adam Abu AlBashar, Mr. Asim Juma Abdulla, Mr. Abu Obaida Adam Abdalla, and Mr. Abduelraheem Edris. The names of injured people (residents) are; Mr. Abdeen Youssif Adam, Mr. Ezzeldin Abdalla Abduelkarim, Mr. Obaid Abdalla Saeed, Mr. Al-Rabie Suliman Yahya, Mr. Adam Khalil Abu Groun, and Mr. Osman Kurdaf. The names of missing people (residents) are; Mr. Hasaballa Haroun and Mr. Abdulehamid Mohammed Al-Rayah. A community leader from Abu-Kershola talked to HUDO Centre saying that; “Abu-Kershola locality is mainly inhabitant by Nuba tribe and Hawazma among others. The large number of Hawazma who were in People Defense Force (PDF) joined RSF which empowered them with advance weapons. This is their second attack to Abu-Alhassan village in less than a year”. 2.3.5 RSF attacked, killed, looted and vandalised property in Tommy village On 7th August 2024 around 5:00AM (Sudan local time), Rapid Support Force (RSF) soldiers came while riding motorcycles and armed with machine guns. They attacked Tommy village by breaking in the shops and houses, looting property including sheep and cattle as well as vandalizing and looting the market (shops) of valuable goods. They also burnt down some houses and shops before running away with the looted items. 27
