HUDO Centre More information Since the cessation of South Sudan in 2011, Sudan government conducted a series of church demolitions, for examples;  On 1st July 2015, Khartoum North Anglican church was partially demolished by police.  On 21st Oct. 2015, Althawra’s (square 29) Church at Omdurman of Khartoum state was demolished by the land authorities supported by security forces and they used excessive power and teargas against the church’s followers.  On 28th Oct. 2015, Althawra’s (square 61) Church at Omdurman of Khartoum state was demolished by the land authorities supported by security agencies. They demolished and destroyed all the church’s furniture and holy/ sacred belongings that were in.
