They spent one night in police cell and were released the second day by the court. The presiding judge dismissed the criminal suit/case because the evidence was not sufficient to lead to their conviction. Arrest of Christian leaders in Khartoum North On 6th July 2016 nineteen (19) Christians from evangelic church some of them priests and religious leaders were arrested by police at Khartoum North, as a result of the conflict within the church between two church‟s committees. The police came to school with some of the committee members to handover the school to new management team. When they arrived at the school yard, they found the other group of nineteen (19) members who were opposed to the new team. The police arrested and released them later the same day.
