HUDO Centre Additional information: Kadogli is the capital city of South Kordufan State/ Nuba Mountains. Dameek, Hillat Barno and Algawareer are villages located in the northwest of Kadogli town in a distant of about 40 km. The name of HAC commissioner who signed on the letter/directive stopping NGOs is Mr. Suliman Mohammed Kindi.  The recent attack by RSF and capture of Algawareer village forced residents from the neighbouring villages to flee towards Kadogli, Al-Kewaik and Bardab villages seeking refuge.  The shopping vouchers were regularly distributed by NRC and their local partner organizations (as part of the emergency program of food security). This is about $250 to $400 per month for each family according to the family size. HAC’s directive affected the benefiting families as well as Kadogli market.  Likely, there are more NGOs/ CBOs were affected however these are the ones HUDO Centre managed to confirm.
