HUDO Centre Additional information: Mr. Hassan Adam (35 years old) Mr. Ali Jibril (37 years old) are a residents of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state. They are relatives and currently both are in Talodi locality. For more than two years they have been working in Altegola goldmine zone. Mr. Hassan is known as the owner of the well/ hole that is a subject to the dispute. Altegola is a goldmine area about (25 km) East Talodi town/ the capital of Talodi locality in South Kordofan state/Nuba Mountains, and it’s one of the six other goldmines-areas in Talodi locality. The SAF officers in Talodi used to impose taxes on the goldmine sectors over the owners of the wells, traders and the labourers reasoning that they (SAF) offers them protection/ security. The violated rights: Personal freedom  Article 46 of the Constitutional Document 2019.  Article 6 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.  Article 9 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.  Article 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
