Description of incident

On 3rd May 2025, soldiers from JSC arrested six (6) youth activists and detained them at JSC detention in Kadogli. They accused the youth of providing information to a journalist. On 4th May 2025, four (4) of the youth were released and the other two (2) were transferred to SAF garrison in Kadogli. They are currently held incommunicado which causes fear that they could be undergoing torture.
