On 13thNovember 2022, a group of armed militia attacked the police office in Umbrembeta and injured three policemen. The militias attacked in an attempt to free one of their own from the police custody who (suspect) was earlier arrested on robbery charges. The state’s security committee has not taken any measures since the incident happened.
