The murder case was reported to Talodi police by the victims’ relatives and the eyewitness. The two names of the killers were recorded at police but police could not arrest them even when their nomadic camp is known. The dead bodies were collected by the relatives and buried in Talodi town. 2.2.12 Murder of an underage and looting of cattle by RSF soldiers near AbuJibaiha st On 31 May 2022, five (5) armed men dressed in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform attacked, shot (on the chest) and killed Mohammed Hassan Zain (16 years old). The deceased (underage) was grazing cattle together with his colleagues (children) near their village of Al-Jibal Al- Humur10. The other children ran and informed their elders/ residents who came running to the crime scene only to find Mohammed was dead already and more than twenty cows were missing. The residents took the dead body to Abu-Jibaiha hospital and also reported the case to police. Thereafter, they took the body for burial. But, police did not respond or conduct any investigations. 2.2.13 Deaths and Injuries over tribal fights in Abu-Jibaiha People fleeing the killing and burning On 6th June 2022, a group of armed Hawazma people invaded part of Kenana within Abu-Jibaiha and the Kenana residents fought back.
