HUDO Centre More information Al-Abbasiya locality is located on the eastern region of South Kordufan/ Nuba Mountains where the PDF is very active and it is mainly consist of nomads from the Arab tribe. While the area is cultivated, frequently there are conflicts between the farmers and pastoralists during the cultivation season. The police does not face them and the other security and political organs usually keep silent.
