2.2.22 Farmer found dead at his farm in Abu-Kershola On 27th July 2020, a farmer named Mr. Mustafa Mohammed (27 years old) was found dead at his garden by his neighbours. They took his dead body to Abu-Kershola health centre. According to the medical report from the health centre, he died because his skull was fractured (was hit twice on the head with sharp objects/tools). His body was later taken for burial by his family/ relatives and they reported the case at Abu-Kershola police against anonymous. 2.2.23 Murder of Mr. Hassan Yahya in Khor-Eldeleib On 19th August 2020, Mr. Hassan Yahya Hassan known by his a nickname Haj Nasheef (56 years old) was hit and stabbed by unknown armed people. Mr.Yahya a trader at Khor-Eldeleib market was walking to his house/home from his shop at Khor-Eldeleib market. Two armed people (one with a gun and the other with a knife) obstructed him and ordered him to give them the money which was in his bag. He did not comply and they hit him with the butt of the gun and stabbed him on his abdomen. They forcefully took the money from him and run away. This incident happened near to the town market (about 300 metres west of the market). The screaming noise attracted people in the neighbourhood who came running to the crime scene only to find him (Yahya) bleeding. They took him to the health centre in town but he died on arrival. The case was reported by his family at Khor-Eldeleib police against anonymous. 2.2.24 Murder of a woman by SAF soldier in Dallami On 1st September 2020, Ms. Noura Fadul Rehan Adam (27 years old) was shot seven times on the chest and abdomen. Ms. Noura a tea maker/ seller in Dallami market was at her shop serving two customers. An armed soldier of Sudan Armed Force (SAF) came and ordered for coffee. The soldier wanted (insisted) to be served before other customers but Ms. Noura did not comply with his request. This annoyed him/soldier and he immediately shot her seven times and she died instantly. Thereafter, the soldier ran to the military base. The dead body was buried by her family and community members of Dallami. The family members reported the case at Dallami police but the police took many days to apprehend the culprit from the military base in Dallami. This caused 25
