important to note that these people are already IDP, previously displaced from their homelands in other parts of South Kordofan, hence this is their second displacement since the start of the war. This catastrophic scenario has led to: o Their children lost education, since the government has rejected any solution suggested by teachers or host community to let children get access to education. o Scarcity of pastoral land due to high population density, could produce other conflict between the farmers and nomads. The security authorities are trying to fuel such conflicts. In addition the lack of water after rainy season is also expected to exacerbate this tense situation. As the a result of all these threats many IDPs wanted to return back home, however, they have been warned by the security authorities that they will be considered and treated as rebel if they returned. The heavy rains and flood affected the IDPs from Talodi and Khor Eldelaib and others areas in Abu Gebaiha, because they are living in peripheral areas of the town on the water passes and in Mango gardens nearby to Wadiiv. Also in Khartoum the people whom were affected in slum areas by the flood most of them are IDPs from conflicts areas (South Kordufan, Blue Nile and Darfur). On 7th Aug. at Eid Elfitrv the state government authorities in Kadogli declared that, they released all detainees in South Kordufan. Three defendants have been jail sentenced for seven to nine years in total for each (the applicable penalties will run sequentially). The court declared 17th Sept. for adjudication in case no. (4325/2011) which consist of six defendants. Dates 27th – 28th Sept. have been scheduled for starting hearing sessions in case no. (4176/2011) which consist of seventy seven defendants.
